Hero Missions recognize that all of our Little Military Heroes are exceptional children, and we understand the sacrifices that each and every one of our Little Military Heroes make to our country by having a wounded, ill, or injured veteran parent, thus we greatly appreciate and love all of our Little Military Heroes equally.  That being said, our Little Military Hero of the Month program has been established to recognize exemplary children of wounded, ill, or injured veterans that go above and beyond their call of duty.  Our Little Military Hero of the Month should not only exhibit astounding strength and resilience within his/her own personal coping process, but he/she should also demonstrate a strong inspire, or help other in the world around him/her.

Each recipient of the Little Military Hero of the Month will be recognized on our website, awarded a certificate of appreciation with a gift bag inclusive of age appropriate prizes, and will be invited to Hero Missions annual banquet where one of our Little Military Hero of the Month recipients will be awarded with our annual Little Military Hero of the Month Scholarship!  Hero Missions Board of Directors will review the Little Military Hero of the Month recipients and vote for one to win the annual scholarship fund based on a majority vote.
